Concrete lintels are pre-stressed and constructed from high-strength concrete (65MPa), providing exceptional structural capacity. Made from premium-quality concrete, these lintels offer greater strength than steel counterparts, making them ideal for use in highly corrosive environments, such as coastal areas.
The load-bearing capacity of a concrete lintel is significantly enhanced when the composite beam action from the brickwork above is considered, with strength increasing as the number of brick courses increases.
Available in standard sizes, these lintels are designed to accommodate standard brick courses and can be easily rendered, plastered, or finished with external sheeting.
